Rufus the Lion is one of TOFT’s much-loved wild safari animals from our ‘Edward’s Menagerie’ collection designed by Kerry Lord. A fantastic choice for a beginner, this crochet pattern is easy to follow and when crocheted in TOFT’s DK yarn, Rufus is utterly adorable and the perfect gift for any animal lover.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete one of TOFT’s standard animal crochet patterns you will need a few added extras, including an 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Go to our recommended section below to get direct links to these products.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished and in the sitting position your standard animal will be approximately 18cm tall. Excluding ears or horns.

SKILL LEVEL 1: This kit is suitable for complete beginners.
