The majestic humpback whale is one of the latest additions to Kerry Lord's menagerie of crochet sea life. Brett the Humpback Whale is a tribute to this graceful giant of the sea, which sings some of the most complex songs of all mammals. Also one of the biggest, growing up to 17 metres in length, the humpback whale travels on some of the longest migrations in the world. While this crochet version is small enough to hold with one hand, he is still a joy to make and display in your home all year round.

This fun crochet sea life project forms part of TOFT's 'Edward's Menagerie' collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet animal kit contains our luxurious pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Humpback Whale you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing , Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section or upgrade to a complete kit which includes all of the above!

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Humpback Whale will be approximately 33cm from front to end of tail.

SKILL LEVEL 2: This kit is suitable for enthusiastic beginners or those who have crocheted before.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 5-10 hours crochet time.
