One of the first flowers to bloom in Spring and rumoured to be Shakespeare's favourite flower, the Primrose has a long associated history with fairies – according to English folklore if you eat a primrose, you'll see a fairy. The most common colour of primrose is yellow, which symbolises happiness, warmth and love, perfect for any occasion!
